Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy applies to all products sold and shipped by Iron North Machining Ltd. (“Iron North”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), including standard online store purchases and products manufactured under custom or contract orders.
This Shipping Policy forms part of and is incorporated into Iron North’s Terms & Conditions. In the event of any inconsistency, the Terms & Conditions shall govern.

1. Shipping Locations
Iron North currently ships within Canada. Shipping availability may be limited by region and is subject to change without notice.
Iron North does not actively ship to customers located in the Province of Quebec at this time.
2. Processing & Lead Times
Standard Online Store Products
Orders for standard products are typically processed within 2-5 business days after payment is received. Processing times do not include shipping transit time. Orders placed prior to March 31, 2026 may be subject to extended processing times due to operational launch scheduling.
For clarity, ‘processed’ refers to order confirmation and entry into Iron North’s production or fulfillment queue and does not mean that manufacturing, completion, or shipment has occurred.
Custom & Contract Manufacturing
Production timelines for custom or contract orders are estimates only and are subject to change due to factors including, but not limited to:

Customer response times
Lead times are governed by Iron North’s Quotes, Estimates & Lead Times Disclaimer.
3. Shipping Methods
Shipping methods and carriers are selected at checkout for online store purchases or quoted separately for contract or custom work.
Iron North reserves the right to select alternative carriers or shipping methods where reasonably necessary to complete delivery.
4. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout for online store purchases or quoted separately for custom or contract jobs.
All shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. Risk of Loss
Risk of loss, damage, or delay transfers to the customer upon shipment from Iron North’s facility or upon pickup, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Iron North is not responsible for loss, damage, or delays caused by third-party carriers once items have been shipped.
6. Damaged or Lost Shipments
If an order arrives damaged or appears lost in transit:

You must notify Iron North within seven (7) days of delivery or expected delivery date

Supporting photos, shipment details, and packaging information may be required
Iron North will reasonably assist with carrier claims where appropriate but does not guarantee carrier outcomes.
7. Pickup Orders
Local pickup may be available by appointment only and must be scheduled in advance.
Customers must collect orders within thirty (30) days of notification unless otherwise agreed in writing. Iron North reserves the right to charge reasonable storage fees for uncollected items or to dispose of items after extended non-collection, subject to applicable law.
8. Incorrect Shipping Information
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information.
Iron North is not responsible for delays, losses, or additional costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete shipping details. Any additional shipping or handling charges resulting from incorrect information are the customer’s responsibility.
9. Delays Beyond Our Control
Iron North is not responsible for shipping delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

Weather events

Supply chain interruptions

Government actions

Force majeure events
10. Quebec Residents
While Iron North Machining Ltd. primarily operates outside the Province of Quebec, individuals located in Quebec who interact with Iron North acknowledge that shipping availability is limited and that this Shipping Policy, Iron North’s Terms & Conditions, and applicable Canadian laws govern all shipments.
